The
Golden Lion Pub
|
RETURN TO THE HOMEPAGE THE CUNARDERS |
The Golden Lion Pub is the classic British pub on board the Cunard Queens. It has its origins in the old Theatre Bar on board the QE2 which in the 1994/5 refit was refubished and renamed the Golden Lion Pub. Thus it became the classic British pub and the name "Golden Lion" came from the rampant creature on the Cunard Line house flag. However today's Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria have continued this tradition and also have a Golden Lion Pub on board. Photo: The Golden Lion Pub on board the Queen Mary 2. |
