The Birth of the legendary Cunard Grills Experience:

The Grills tradition began on the legendary Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth when guests paid an extra tariff for an evening of dining and dancing in the famous Verandah Grills.

The Cunard Grills Experience on board the QE2:

This concept continued after the retirement of the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth in the Grill Room on board the QE2. However in 1972 with the addition of her Penthouse Suites these were paired with the Queens Grill. Three years later, the Princess Grill was introduced for guests in deluxe staterooms and finally the Britannia Grill was introduced in 1990.

On today's Cunard Fleet the Grills Experience has two expressions which are the Queens Grill and the Princess Grill experiences.

On the Queen Mary 2 passengers staying in a Suite, Penthouse or Duplex Apartment are able to enjoy the incomparable Queens Grill Experience. These sumptuous accommodations include an expansive private balcony. This is truly a home from home and your butler helps you settle in, bars are kept stocked to your individual tastes and canapes arrive before dinner. You also enjoy a dedicated conceirge service to attend to your every need.

Adjoining the traditional Grills Lounge, which provides the perfect venue for pre-dinner drinks, canapes and champagne, the Grills Terrace offers a secluded outdoor oasis offering unobtrusive but attentive deck service.
